Notes:

Grace is God’s unearned favor which he gives freely. God’s grace is a deep and often discussed topic, but it is also frequently misunderstood. Grace was God’s plan to save the lost and connect us to God, but its significance extends even further. God’s grace also continues to provide believers with the desire and power to live in accordance with their righteousness. In today’s episode, Ross O’Hair and Tom Price delve into the nature of God’s grace and discuss how God’s grace also provides the power to overcome addictions and walk in freedom from sin.

Verses:

Romans 5:17 – “For if by the transgression of the one, death reigned through the one, much more those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.”

2 Corinthians 12:7-9 – “So to keep me from becoming conceited because of the surpassing greatness of the revelations, a thorn was given me in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to harass me, to keep me from becoming conceited. Three times I pleaded with the Lord about this, that it should leave me. But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”
