Sharing updates about our safety policies regarding COVID-19 at Christian Families Today.

Christian Families Today is open for in-person counseling appointments. We also are continuing to offer remote sessions using our secure video platform on Doxy.me. In the interest of health and safety, we ask for anyone over the age of 65 and/or those who have severe underlying medical conditions (e.g. heart or lung disease, diabetes, compromised immune systems etc.) who have not been vaccinated to consult with their medical professional(s) about whether remote counseling is advisable for their level of risk. Please call our office at 770-502-8050 to schedule appointments.
Have you:
- experienced any flu-like symptoms in the past 24 hours such as shortness of breath, coughing or fever?
- been diagnosed with COVID-19 or have had a positive test confirming you have the virus in the past 5 days?
If you answer yes to any of the above questions, please do not come into the office. Instead, contact our office at 770-502-8050 to move your session online or reschedule it for a later date.
If you are visiting our office for an in-person counseling appointment, please note our current policies and procedures below:
- At this time, wearing a protective mask during your session is optional. If you would like to wear a mask, please bring it with you to your appointment. If you would like for your counselor to wear a mask during the session, please let the receptionist know upon arrival.
- Our waiting room is open only to clients for ten minutes before scheduled appointments. At this time, seating remains marked for social distancing. Family and/or friends must wait outside the building.
- We have installed iWave commercial air cleaners in our office to help provide more safety and comfort.
- Counselors will be following social distancing protocols (e.g. seating arrangements, maintaining a minimum distance of six feet between counselor and client, no handshakes, etc.).
- Please sanitize or wash your hands before and after your session. We will provide hand sanitizer and a regularly cleaned bathroom for your convenience.
